The Hosted MCP Server for Linnworks is coming very soon. Join the waiting list and we'll email you when it opens, the day it opens. Starter will be £13.99 a month inc VAT; Pro is coming soon.

What it will do

Your Linnworks account, in plain English.

📋 Orders

Search open orders waiting to go out and processed orders over a date range, then pull the full record for any order: line items, addresses, totals and channel.

📦 Stock

Search your catalogue by SKU, title or barcode, and see stock levels per location for any item.

🛍️ Purchase orders

List and search supplier purchase orders by status, supplier, date or reference, and open any PO with its items and deliveries.

↩️ Returns & refunds

Search returns and refunds history, see the refunds on an order, and get a list of refunds still waiting for action: a ready-made morning triage list.

Changes you approve

It shows you first. Nothing changes until you say yes.

What it can change

  • Update the base retail price on up to 50 items at a time (channel listing prices are left alone; changes over ±50% are refused unless you explicitly allow them)
  • Archive up to 100 items, refusing any that still hold stock, sit on an open order or are due on a purchase order, and restore archived items
  • Create one new open order of up to 50 lines

How every change works

  • Step 1, preview: your assistant reads the live data and shows you exactly what will change, before and after
  • Step 2, confirm: only after you say yes. Each approval works once and expires after 10 minutes
  • Every change is written to an audit log you can see in your account
  • Changes are only available on Pro, which is coming soon. Starter is read-only.

How you connect

A couple of minutes, no keys to copy.

  1. Sign in with your email. No password: we email you a 6-digit code.
  2. Connect Linnworks. Press the button and approve the app inside Linnworks. You never share your Linnworks password or API keys with us.
  3. Add it to Claude. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, paste your server URL and press Connect.
  4. Approve access and start asking. For example: "Which open orders have been waiting more than two days?"

Your data

Read live, not copied.

Nothing stored

Your orders, customers and stock are never stored by us. Everything is read live from Linnworks when you ask.

Encrypted connection token

The token Linnworks issues when you approve the app is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and never written to logs.

Standard sign-in for your assistant

Your assistant connects with OAuth, so there are no shared secrets in URLs. Each account can only ever see its own Linnworks data.

A short audit trail

Changes made through your assistant are logged for 90 days, and your last 20 are listed in your account.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is the Hosted MCP Server for Linnworks?

A hosted server that uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to let Claude read your own Linnworks account live, so you can ask about orders, stock, purchase orders and refunds in plain English. We run it, so there is nothing for you to deploy.

Which AI assistants will it work with?

It works with Claude, added as a custom connector. It is built on the open MCP standard, so other assistants that support remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in should be able to connect too.

Do I have to share my Linnworks password or API keys?

No. You approve the app inside Linnworks, which issues a token for your account. Your assistant then signs in to the server with OAuth, so there are no keys to copy or paste.

Do you store my orders or customer data?

No. Orders, customers and stock are read live from Linnworks each time you ask and are not stored. We keep your account details, your encrypted Linnworks token, and a 90-day log of any changes made through your assistant.

Can the AI change things in my Linnworks account?

Only on the plan that includes changes, and only with your say-so. It can update base retail prices, archive or restore items and create an order, but every change is previewed first and carried out only after you confirm it. Each confirmation works once and expires after 10 minutes.

How is this different from the Linnworks MCP source code?

The Linnworks MCP source is a one-off purchase you deploy and run on your own Cloudflare account. The hosted server is run for you: connect Linnworks, add it to Claude and start asking.

When does it launch, and what will it cost?

Very soon; we haven’t fixed a date yet. Starter will be £13.99 a month inc VAT, and Pro is coming soon. Join the waiting list and we will email you when it opens.

Is it made by Linnworks or Anthropic?

No. It is built by Green & Home Limited (trading as MCP-G) and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Linnworks Ltd or Anthropic. We use their names only to describe what it works with.
